Paducah fun!
This is the "special" fireplace log that came with Erin's house. The light bulbs are red, to give a nice glow. That is silver garland that rotates and brushes against the light bulbs. It give the sound of the crackle... Like I said, it was special.

I'm so glad you posted an explanation of the fireplace log. I thought the lightbulbs looked like water balloons and I wondered if we were looking at a science fair project of an internal reproductive organ or something. Love the tight-rolled jeans, I can't believe we ever thought that was cool.
