Life is rough when you are almost 3 weeks old.

First official bath.

Maddox was able to take his first offical bath tonight.

Nelson and his "baby"

Nelson decided that his Curious George was a baby and needed to be wrapped up and put in Maddox's bassinet. He wrapped him up, put him in the bassinet and then went around the house telling everyone to be quiet because George was sleeping. He also rocked him and carried him (while suppporting the head). He is one funny kid!

More baby babble

I'm amazed at how quickly a person remembers the little bit of sleep that's required to function. Maddox has done really well transitioning to being home with two big brothers. He seems to be really content. He sleeps at night for 4-5 hr stretches. However, the problem is getting him down for the 4-5 hr stretches. The last two nights he has faught sleep. Travis said to me, "gosh, I'm tired!" I was kind enough to just roll my eyes at him. In all seriousness, he's been great! While I was in the hospital he did everything he could to keep a "normal" routine for Cooper and Nelson. When he gets home from work he immediately jumps in to play with them or help wherever he's needed around the house. I'm discovered Maddox prefers to sleep on top of his daddy instead of anywhere else. I think it's sweet.

Why we love Fisher-Price!

For $30 (give or take with inflation) we get a chair for each boy, that can be used until they reach 40 lbs. For our boys, that means the chairs can be used for a long time! Much more for your money than a bouncy seat that's outgrown at 15lbs.
Cooper and Nelson are completely in love with Maddox and cannot get enough of him. I really hope in 9 months, when Maddox is in love with their toys that they still feel the same way.

Friday morning at 6:30 my water broke. At 10:44AM Maddox Carl was in my arms!
The older boys are completely in love with him!
